Suddenly, a yellow leaf fell, so light but it was enough for me to feel the change of sky and earth, to enjoy the intense sunlight filled with gentle breezes. That's right, summer is coming. And what could be happier than welcoming the summer with Vu Minh Great Family at the island known as "Pearl Island".
After about 2 years of separation because of the Covid-19 pandemic, now we, from three regions, have the opportunity to meet again. Warm hugs, loud laughter, expectant eyes are all I can see at this moment.
Before going to the hotel, we stopped at a tourist destination called Tranh stream. We held each other's hands, helped each other through the bumpy and rocky stairs to get to the "top" like in our work, we always helped each other to overcome difficulties. In the Upstream, it was like a charming picture, plants and flowers were upwards to catch the brightest rays of sunlight.
After descending at the foot of Tranh stream, we continued to move to the hotel to prepare for the annual traditional match – “Open Tennis Tournament”.
We stayed at a 5-star resort next to the sea. Blue water, white sand, golden sunshine, no words can describe the beauty of the sea of "Pearl Island".
At 9am on the next day, we were at Vinpearl Safari to continue the journey to discover the Pearl Island.
We seemed to return to our childhood, attended the "Bird Show", went to see other rare animals together. Then we continued to enter the magical world in Vin Wonder. It was like we entered a fairy tale world together, with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, with a beauty and a monster, with an Aquarium, with a performing mermaid….and most of all, an interesting experience with adventure games.
There were those who did not dare to participate, there were those who have already participated, but still felt their heart beat and their legs tremble, and they couldn’t stand firm, thanks to the encouragement from the seniors, they overcame their fear to complete the games like in the work and life. Difficulties, challenges, and storms were indispensable things, but thanks to the consensus, guidance and encouragement of the seniors in the company, we gradually overcame all obstacles in work as well as in life.
Whether it's work, life, or play, we always want to go together in order to firmly go far in the future.
This year is also a very special year as our summer vacation coincides with the 25th Company Establishment Anniversary any (May 14th 1997 - May 14th 2022).
Everyone shows happiness and pride for being a part of Vu Minh Great Family, together contributing their strength to make the big family grow and develop further and further.
Under the spotlight, Mr. Van - the captain who drives the boat named Vu Minh shared with us about Vu Minh's growth over the past 25 years, about the meaning of the logo that is so familiar with us. Unlike other leaders, our captain had no pen and paper, no pre-written script, but rekindled in our hearts the fire of passion for the job. That respectable captain is like a brother, a father who not only teaches us about work, but also shares us about life, gives us a heart for the profession, gives us great motivation to work. Even when facing big waves, he will calmly drive the boat to overcome them.
The lyrics of the song "The Great Circle of Vietnam" kept echoic in my mind, as well as our hearts. When the lyrics were sung, it was also when we held hands and sang the lyrics of this meaningful song together. Those clenched fists were like a promise in each person's heart, holding hands together to cross mountains, hills, high and dangerous waterfalls, steep passes... forming a great circle of strength connecting the three regions of the country: Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh.
Fired up with the company’s festival night, it's time for us to say goodbye to Phu Quoc, prepare to return to the life, return with the enthusiasm of our work. The nostalgic hugs, no matter how many words, can't describe our feelings right now. Looking deeply into familiar eyes, I can feel the silent promises to try our best at work like the days we spent together.
Tomorrow we will return with online "meetings" and meetings via zoom, but we will still remember these moments forever - Such a meaningful summer day. See you again - "comrades" in the next summer vacation.
