In 2007, after a long period of investigation and test runs with the technical staffs from Bim Son Cement, the automatic pump system using Kluberfluid C-F3 Ultra for the lubrication of the open gear in the coal mill number one had officially been implemented. This is a state-of-the-art system with a Lincoln (USA) pneumatic pump placed directly on the drum which makes the drum replacement task much easier and without any contamination.
The system includes three nozzles, a distributor and Siemens’s digital control panel. This arrangement is not only reliable in severe working and weather conditions, but also will immediately send warnings in case of any unforeseen incidents. As a result, compared to the previous way of using black grease, this advanced technology saved substantial costs for Bim Son Cement as well as minimized waste and kept the working environment clean.
Currently, many cement factories are still employing the immersion method for the lubrication of the open gear in the ball mill. This is not efficient and yet costly because of the dusty working environment. Thanks to the success with Bim Son Cement, Vu Minh can now replace the old method with the more efficient spraying system.
